If you like traditional and intimate boat, Tidak Apa Apa is for you. This “Phinisi” boat built in the Indonesian tradition, is a superb 20 meter yacht, launched in 2001. Her name means, in Indonesian, “it does not matter”.
Its design is a mixture of influences, from Chinese junks to Dutch vessels, which gives a single line, elegant and refined. she is equipped with a sail area of 200m2 distributed on a double rig masts and 7 sails.
Although traditional, Tidak Apa Apa also boasts modern facilities: 210 HP engine, fiberglass fuel and water tanks, modern communication tools for security (Cell & satellite phone, VHF, GPS plotter & sounder ).
She can accommodates up to 8 divers and sails from May to September between Bali and Komodo from Labuan Bajo. From October, she rises up to the northwest coast of Papua New Guinea, to Raja Ampat from Sorong, for a season of three months.
It’s a friendly atmosphere that awaits you on board. The single cabin is arranged in open space with 4 double beds with canopy. Towels, sarongs and pareos are available for everyone. Toilets and showers are shared and outside the cabin, with amazing sea view.
The upper deck is spacious open air area, divided into a dining area with shaded table and benches and a solarium with mattresses and cushions for your comfort.
Divers water entry & exit are from a 5.5m fiberglass dinghy. The boat is equipped with 2 compressors, 13 Aluminum 12L thanks with Yoke valve, oxygen therapy emergency kit, with 50L pure oxyge thank, lifejackets… Sets of diving equipment are available for rent.
Diving supervision is provided by Bertrand, the owner of the boat, and his assitant, sailing in these waters for many years. They are PADI and CMAS instructors.
Boat crew is Indonesian and are 3 : captain, engineer and Chef.
