Description

Dive in Raja Ampat and Cenderawasih bay with Pearl Of Papua

Pearl of Papua is a wooden traditional phinisi, built at Tanah Beru,  South Sulawesi, in 2010. She navigates in Raja Ampat and Cenderawasih bay. She is equipped with latest technology safety and navigation devices, and was specially designed to welcome 14 divers on board.

This vessel was thought and built to welcome divers in a luxurious comfort.

She offers 7 cabins, all with air conditioning and private bathroom.

– Manta Suite cabin offers one double bed and one single bed. It’s the most spacious cabin located on lower deck

– Trevally Deluxe cabins are on upper deck. One is equipped with double bed, the other with twin beds.

– Seahorses Standards cabins are on lower deck, all with 2 bunk beds.

Air-conditioned dining area / lounge is equipped with a huge DVD plasma screen player and karaoke, media to center, laptop, printer, library with lots of marine biology books. A space is reserved for reloading camera, torches, and computer…

The meals are served as buffet style proposing a mixture of Asian and western dishes. Fresh fruit, snacks, warm and cold drinks is served at the bar all day long.

A sun deck with comfortable sunbeds are the perfect place to relax between dives.

The dive platform is ordered so that each can equip himself without jostling. We find rinse tanks for the equipment and the cameras as well as spaces of storage, showers of fresh water there. Two dinghies assure the surface cover during the dives and allow reaching the dive sites.

The boat is equipped with 2 Air compressors Air and a Nitrox compressor, Tank Alu 12L, yoke valve, kit of oxygen therapy, tank of medical oxygen, life jackets, fire extinguishers. Sets of equipment are available for rent.

One English cruise director and Indonesian divemasters, all English speaking, supervise dive groups. The diving groups ratio is 4:1, dives last until you reach your 50 bar!.

Boat crew is Indonesian and very kind and helpful: captain, engineers, boat boys, Chef and assistant, maid, massage lady are doing their best to make your stay unforgettable.
